New NY Event for Cultured Albos

Friday, June 1st at 8 PM and Saturday, June 2nd at 3 PM, at the Manhattan based theater

The Ajkun Ballet Theatre, directed by Tirana Opera House Principal Dancer Leonard Ajkun (known in Albania as Xhokaxhiu), will be performing the program:

from Tradition to Innovation

a combination of traditional repertory pas de deux and new choreographies.

Among the performers, Albanian Principal Dancer Altin Kaftira that is joining the New York City company in what may be one of his last shows. Kaftira will, in the near future, pursue further studies to move on to the Movie world.

Leonard Xhokaxhiu Ajkun, who will perform in Romeo and Juliet and Karien, The Amazon, will offer 50 free tickets to Albanian people who are interested in attending the shows.
